So, so sorry...

Well, like I promised (I think), I shall blog about the wedding today.

But first, let me tell you what my morning was filled with.

Basically, I was searching the net the whole day, on tips on using hair gel. =.=

Yes, I know, laugh all you want. I had a tub of hair gel in the bathroom, which I bought a couple of months ago on impulse. Didn't know how to use it properly, so it kinda stayed there for a bit.

Then on Saturday, decided to try to use the hair gel, and I thought that it worked. As a matter of fact, it did work in the morning, but the hair gel kinda lost its effect in the afternoon.

Found out when I reached home at night that my hair was FLAT. My hair was like totally straight, as if combed, and I looked like a *toot*.

So, to avoid any embarassment today, I decided to use the morning to search up on tips on using hair gel.

Well, that kinda paid off, I think.

Oh, and I used it and then washed my hair for a total of 3 times today. o.O

That was because I wanted to see if the effect of the hair gel would last. Didn't make much difference though.

Luckily my hair still looked like what I wanted it to be, or rather close to what I wanted it to be.

Maybe it looked TOO wet or greasy, I don't know. Maybe I should use less gel.

Or maybe I should buy hairspray and wax.

Ok, ENOUGH with the hair care products. Back to the wedding.

Left the house at about 6 in the evening. Went to fetch my grandma and uncle, so the car was kinda squeezy after that.

We reached the restaurant early, so we decided to go to harbourfront centre shops, since they were just a couple of floors below.

Saw a pair of jeans at bossini that I wanted to buy, but didn't. Maybe I will the next time.

Then went back up after eating salad, don't ask me why.

The restaurant was packed with guests trying to enter, and we had to squeeze through the small crowd.

Saw the familiar faces of my cousins and uncles and aunties.

Had to call all the elders, and they all sounded weird, because it was in dialect.

I think almost all of the elders didn't hear me, because they didn't respond. Well, their kids, who are my cousins, didn't call my parents either, so I guess me trying to call them was better than not trying at all.

And I think one of them was my dad's grandma, or my great-grandma, if you like.

She's on a wheelchair, and she's hard on hearing. Same scenario as my great-grandma from my mother's side, who passed away last year. Or was it the year before? I forgot. SORRY, LAO MA!

Anyway, my cousins didn't talk to me anyway. They were all talking to each other, and me and my brother were like, well, not talking to them. =.=

There was this other guy at our table, who is actually a distant cousin of mine. He looked kinda familiar, like one of the basketballers in our school, but he didn't recognise me, so I didn't bother to look closer anyway.

He was also, like us, not talking to his other distant cousins. They were all happily chatting away at the other table.

Oh, and I don't know why, but one of them kept staring at me after the wedding dinner. And it's a HE. o.O

The dishes were OK, nothing that I fancy.

And I want to say this to the person whom I smsed throughout the wedding dinner, for a full 2 hours; I'M REALLY SORRY!!!

I know you were kinda pissed off after 1 hour + of smsing, so I tried to end the conversation. Again, I'm really sorry I disturbed you for that full 2 hours.

The wedding stuff were pretty basic, nothing fancy.

Stuff like your 'Yum Sengs' and 'Popping of Champange Bottle' were there. Other than that, it wasn't very nice.

And the lightings and audio SUCKED.

There was another screen in one corner of the restaurant, and the projector was turned on THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DINNER.

That means that we could see what the person was doing on the computer, stuff like switching from a powerpoint slide to a video, and the contents of the laptop.

It's like, that damn thing is showing right in front of you, AND YOU DON'T EVEN NOTICE?

And the lighting really, really sucked. When the dishes started to come out, the lights were kinda like in 'disco mode', and started to flash all sorts of colours at the guests.

Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, White, you name it, they've got it. It practically shone in my eyes, and it was VERY disturbing.

They should be shining it only at the area where the food comes in, and maybe on the stage, but definately not in the eyes of the guests.

In whole, the wedding dinner was BORING.

Cousins were, again, kinda stuck up.

I have no idea what's wrong with them. Maybe it's because their parents don't like my dad (which I highly suspect). Or maybe it's because they don't like me (which would then mean that they are abnormal people. I mean, hey, I'm a likeable person, right? RIGHT? =D).

Whatever the reason, they're just stuck up.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention this; of all the cousins, there is only 1 whom I can talk to, or rather at least make eye contact with.

He's the youngest son of one of my aunts, whom is the youngest in their generation.

He's about 5, I think, and he's cute. He calls his teacher 'mummy', but he calls his mummy 'aunty'. I was like laughing my guts out when my aunt told us that.

And I've someting to say to another cousin of mine from this side of the family, the one with the baby, who didn't go to the wedding dinner today;

Learn from your mistakes, and become a stronger person. It's part of life. Don't feel down just because you made a small mistake. Everybody makes mistakes. And I think that you'll make a good mummy, even if you say that you're not one yourself. Life may have been hard for you when you were young, because of the situation that you were in, but what's past is past and the only thing that you can do is to look foward to a better future, and work towards it. JiaYou! You may be experiencing difficult times right now, but you'll soon see the fruits of labour of all the things that you've done. And remember that we're always here to help you, to give you support. And most importantly;

WE LOVE YOU! =D

Ok! It's getting late now. I need to get some rest, so that I will feel refreshed on Tuesday and be able to concentrate on my studies. BYE! =)
